Proposal of collaboration between DIBA and Fundació Digitalent:

Fundació Digitalent commits to accommodate in Factoria de Talents the winners of Digitalent award and Digitalent award Online. This accommodation includes:

• A monthly grant for each team member, with a maximum of two people per team, valued in 1,200€. It also includes travel costs, in case these people live outside the city, which will be managed by Digitalent. It does not exclude that the winning team may reach an agreement, in case there is more than one member, based on which the rest of the team may also be accommodated in Factoria paying the expenses themselves.
• Fundació Digitalent will decide together with the award winners the project to carry out and its degree of execution: a research, a pilot or the whole project. The key parameters to determine the degree of execution are: time and production costs. The execution deadline is 1 month, and the production costs will be estimated depending on the project.

Factoria de Talents will provide the winners with the proper working space to carry out the projects, which includes the necessary premises and digital material, as well as the team of advisors in innovation, digital technology and contents, so that the winners may develop their project in an entirely professional environment and close to the industry. The winners will have access to the following premises of Factoria de Talents:

• Sets: one of 100 m2 and the possibility to access other sets up to 1,200 m2.
• Sound editing: 2 sound rooms equipped with the best audio consoles on the market: Digidesign Icon D-Control.
• Video editing: 3 editing rooms equipped with Avid and FinalCut.
• Internet access through optical fibre.
• They will also have access to associated services: audio technician, post-production technician, IT developers, lightning technicians, cameramen, etc.

Now, Fundació Digitalent, through the working team of Factoria de Talents, will incentivise the winners by supporting them with the necessary human and concept resources, etc. to favour innovation in their projects. This way, new synergies and collaboration possibilities will be set to favour improvement and even redefinition of initial proposals. It will all be carried out in agreement with the winners. Factoria de Talents will help these teams define and find the innovation parameters that best fit their proposals.

These awards may be stated as deserted.

The jury that will decide these awards will be set up by Fundació Digitalent, including someone from Festival DIBA’s team.

In addition, Factoria de Talents will make the project and talent data available to the industry to try and promote productions that include the proposals.
